Sariska is within easy approach of the visitors. It is about 200 km form Delhi and 140 km from Jaipur. The Reserve remains open through out the year for tourists. Generally Indian tourists visit during monsoon whereas foreigners visit during winter.

Infrastructure and Facilities
Ample accommodation is available at Sariska. There is a threesuite forest rest house at Sariska, which is also available for tourists. There is also a tourist bungalow, Tiger Den, managed by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation and a privately managed palace turned into a hotel, Sariska Palace.

The management does not provide any transport facility. Nevertheless, private jeeps are easily available for going around the Reserve.

Highways
Two state highways pass through the heart of the Reserve and the proposed National Park. They are the most disturbing factor in the free movements of wild animals.

Criminals and Extremists
No criminal or extremist gangs are reported in the Reserve.

Diseases

Other

Bharathari temple near Bharathari village and Hanuman temple at Pandupole in the core area are visited by several hundred thousand people every year. Tuesdays and Saturdays are days of free entry for the pilgrims. Pilgrim pressure increases particularly during monsoon and virtually becomes unmanageable on festival occasions. Also in the buffer zone are Nahar Sati, Sati Mata Narayani Ji, Talvriksh and Garbaji, the religious places visited by several hundred thousand people every year.
